KITCHEN MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to the General Manager
Must have previous experience as a Restaurant/General Manager, Kitchen Manager, or Chef
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role
Recruit and train kitchen staff on prep work, cooking, and food plating
In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to accurately follow recipes
Schedule kitchen staff shifts
Coordinate and execute catering orders with Catering Manager
Store food products in compliance with safety and health practices
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Maintain weekly/monthly cost reports
Establish portion sizes
Order food and kitchen supplies as needed, and monitor inventory levels
Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
Great conflict management skills
